The vintage truck tarps for Freitag Reference bags have been on the road for around 10 years. They were manufactured when the iPod still had a click wheel, Britney was still with Justin, and the ring tones business made heavy money.

For the product catalogue “Thatʼs So 2003”, ten years old printed publications – ranging from newspaper supplements to teen magazines – were bought from stock available on the internet. Many pages were kept original, only a couple were juxtaposed and color matched with stickers of the Freitag Reference bag collection. Every catalogue became an one-off publication and a journey back of the politics, fashion, art, design, music, and literature of 2003.
